Summer Glau is an American actress known for her performance as River Tam in the critically popular TV show Firefly as well as Cameron in the series Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Other than these shows the actress also appeared on The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered. Additionally she appeared as a guest star on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck Hawaii Five-0. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena is the youngest of children that was born to Marcela Quintanilla. When Selena was eight, she started a career in a band that was formed by her father. Selena and her brothers Abraham junior and Sister Suzette played drums. Selena sang for the group. Selena Y Los Dino was the band's name and Selena would sing with other siblings in restaurants, bars and wedding fairs. Selena's siblings were not able to enjoy a good childhood and they did not have having a happy childhood since the band demanded so much space and time. Their father Abraham, however, encouraged the band members to be determined by urging them on. Abraham Senior was part of the first band Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos officially was formed in 1981. Family business was Selena Y Los Dinos which was the primary source of income for the Quintanilla family. Quintanilla was determined, even though having little money in their beginning. They worked toward becoming a winning family group. The perseverance paid dividends in the 1980's when Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularity in the west states. Selena is the singer who was lead from the band, won two Awards during the Tejano Awards for the year 1986: Female Vocalist Of The Year, and also the Performer. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to be among the winners of Tejano awards for music, as well as gaining fame and respect. They appeared on numerous Spanish-language TV shows including El Show De Johnny Canales Always On Sunday and Sabado Gigante.
