The Jazz musician Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born the 20th of February 1937 in Chillicothe Ohio to iron-worker Olden Wilson, and former Lillian Ryan who worked as a domestic servant. Nancy is the youngest out of 6 siblings. Nancy was heavily influenced by her father's musical tastes as well as the music played at her home. When she was just 4, Nancy already knew that her future was as a performer. She was able to develop her talents when she sang in the church choir. While still in high-school, she appeared regularly in Skyline Melodies. It was at that time that she began to work in night clubs at that same age. Nancy was just 17 when she finished high school. After attending Ohio Central State College - today Central State University - for only one semester Nancy went on to become professional performers. In 1956, she recorded her debut album in Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band. They performed together between 1956 and 1958. Nancy began recording for Dot Records in 1956, when she was part of the band. Cannonball addederley advised her to relocate in New York for her career, and in 1959 she moved to The Big Town. The agent of Adderley heard about her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. within a month after arriving in New York City. The contract was signed the label Capitol records in 1960, and she debuted that year with the single. Guess whom I saw today. Her records were successful and Capitol released five Nancy Wilson albums in two years. With the help of Adderley's influence the singer-songwriter shifted her focus away her focus from R&B towards jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley joined forces in 1962 and led to her rise up the charts. In 1963, she scored her biggest hit through Tell Me the Truth. This brought her a gig at the New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America that year, and she quickly became a legend.
Maisie is an English television and film actor. She played the role of Chloe's lead in the Netflix film The Kissing Booth. On ABC's Of Kings and Prophets she played Michal her daughter Israel The King Saul. She has also appeared in several popular TV shows, including The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow.
