Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian Actress who is best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te are enamored. Her other talents include being a successful model and a dancer. She was born in Montreal, she was raised in Texas. She's always been a performer. When she was a young girl she started to train in various forms of dance. In her teens, she competed in beauty competitions. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous by her appearance on Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant program. She was in 2010 as the receptionist in Telemundo the telenovela Aurora. Her debut film was the action-drama Tattooed Love in 2015. Toubia has been nominated twice in the Teen Choice Awards as the Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi due to her part in Shadowhunters.
